Got the job done and is fun to have as a novelty
At first it feels cheaply made but after catching a couple of fish I changed my mind it’s pretty tuff not recommended for catching big fish but I will put it to the test, does pretty good with 1 to 2 foot catfish I have 4lb braided line put on and it’s not bad it’s just a fun little rod to throw in the water
Surprisingly strong and high quality! Watched some videos before purchasing and it seemed like a good product. This listing has exactly what I was expecting based on my research. I caught a nice walleye my first trip with it and it seems to have good casting distance!
I bought the 38in one and put some 8lb mono on it for a ultralight catfish set up and it holds up better than I expected. Only bad thing was the line that it comes with.
The rod is not the best quality. Eyelet grommets have came loose & it doesn’t stay extended well. Changed out the line to 4lb mono & it casts well. I have pulled in 2 decent catfishes that I never thought this combo could handle.
